Anw, ICT at KFCC is really rewarding, better enjoy the experiences now.
Everyday work is all about self training at the gym, canteen break and carbo loading. but when night comes, its 开工 time.
and the funny thing is no one there likes to conduct circuit training. This is our batch favourite baby. so Kwek and Kiat personally improvised some stations, to cater for those IPT, Static and Running group people.
We even renamed the Circuit Training as The Icon. Yes, that condominium name. anw, we NSman are all service orientated. making training more enjoyable, we may even name it La Casa next time....
There's this NSman who shouted at us today, complaining the circuit training was too tough for unfit people like him. but anw, that's the 1st time a NSman shouted at any instructor, and he was properly advised.
In Camp Training is rewarding, when u talk to people, understand the work life, encourage them in their training.
Indeed, the desire to kick start a career now is really burning. Just feel that there are tonnes of things yet to be completed, and yet still stuck at this shit hole here, everyday studying.
怨天怨地怨自己. its time to earn bucks now, finance planning, investment and so on... u must start somewhere.

Anw, In Camp Training is fun. SAF meals save us money, though canteen break are very often.
and the SAF Emart is the only place in Singapore, when u buy and pay everything WITH CREDIT, and do not have to worry about any bills being sent to your home at the end of the month.

anyway just hope to complete my 10 cycles at FCC, we never know, cause ah KiaT believe something is happening soon...

monotonous week. a colleague got into a minor accident and was given 6 days MC, means ah KiaT have to work super long hours this week, and the off that he got this wednesday had to be cancelled.
anw, today ah KiaT chatted with a angmo customer, conversing in ah KiaT's 1st language. English.

Customer: "okie i need a gas cooker and a gas fryer to fry my chicken." ah KiaT: "sure, i'll arrange an appointment and also fix the gas dryer for you to dry your chicken..."
okie, and the customer and ah KiaT burst into laughter, so abruptly after a few seconds of coldness silence.
haha how can ah KiaT confuse fryer and dryer. tongue tight then.
and ah KiaT can imagine the working routine in future. He used to gym swim alot in a week for the past months. and suddenly, when work starts,
its hard to maintain that kinda of intensity. its now 1 or 2 times per week.

last sunday was the 1st time ah KiaT met up with the Sports People. as he cant make it during the 1st MGM... 安哥就是老了. He took around 2 months to fully know last year freshies.
and ah KiaT is proud to say, during that few hours, he get to know most of them, about 75% so to speak.
and even more prouder to say that, after looking at those facebook photos taken on that day, ah KiaT need to think and recall those 75% of them NOW!!!
why is his memory so bad?!?!
dun ask him to play Nokia's memory game. it's gonna kill him, even those 5 X 5 square only. haha.
and really, Simpang Bedok is a nice place for supper.! Cooling, relaxing, serene. ah KiaT loves that kind of relaxation, sitting under those big trees, seeing cars buzz by, enjoy a cup of teh halia.
and if not of that 60KM to and fro, amounting up to around $7-$8 of petrol, ah KiaT would have been a regular there.
anw, seldom supper now le. No time and wanna rest. only went there that time after the SPorts BBQ.
ah KiaT still remembered the day when the car battery died on him. in the end, he had to sum-mong the car.
dun worry, history dun happen twice.
but come yesterday, another fantastic thing happened.
this time round, the tyre was punctured. YES, big time.
no wonder the driving seems uneasy, steering wheel seems hard.
ah KiaT was at Bras Basah, waiting for seeks. and before he could get off his car to check, helpful Singaporeans knocked on ah KiaT's door to notify him.
Help was rendered but ah KiaT declined as the news of a punctured tyre is still digesting in his brain. Soon after, seeks came and the 2 of them began changing the tyre.
Fortunately, ah KiaT's dad did have a tutorial lesson with him before, and hence its basically like recalling what he had said.
its not easy to change a tyre, many safety points to note, where to jack the car, always engage the 1st gear, wheel face where, how to screw the nut, etc.
and soon, another fellow Singaporean came and asked, do u need help. ah KiaT thought, well why not, an experienced one can advise him too.
哪里知道 this malay guy also sama sama, 1st time change tyre, trying to learn...
hahaha but he was a great help, and not long later, the 2 of them chatted and did the job.
its pretty nice to see people lending a help, especially so when u didnt request for it. while some others will drive past and stare at this guy, 按舍 put all the boot barang barang on the ground like a flea market.
he even tell ah KiaT off, to lock the door, as his friends encountered situations whereby people take advantage of this situation, and try to steal valuables in the car.
another set of hands, a great help, and not long later, the job was done.
and now, dunno why, ah KiaT pays more attention to noises and feeling when driving. and sometimes to a certain extend of paranoid when he thinks there's something wrong. 心里做用...
anw, the tyre cant be fixed, as the nail is damn long la. have to change a new one. luckily the rim wasnt spoiled..
indeed, 驾驶的确是很多学问....
phew. well, the moral of this story shows Singaporeans are still helpful. No doubt there are black sheep everywhere.
just like today, ah KiaT brought a customer over to see a power supply CRO, and guessed wad she said when ah KiaT mentioned the case,
she replied,
"Did u take a number anot?"
oh my 天... law by law meh, cannot use ur butt to think meh.
and some lagi more better, approached some CRO to follow up a case handled by her colleague, and she just pushed me back and say, "then u ask her back...."
okie enough of grievances but actually ah KiaT liked to speak to people. He is lucky he got the chance to work back in the same company, talked to some really high ranking bosses that he worked with previously, sharing job experiences with them.
its really nice to talk to people.
and today this customer complained about installation of pipe line at her home, $100 too expensive. and if she moved, can she take the pipe out or refund the money because she dun want to benefit the next owner.
and the best thing is, when ah Kiat explained $100 is well worth it, when u stay at ur flat for 10+++ years,
she replied, i already change house 5 times in a year!!!
hahaha she ah long san meh, need to shift everytime...
its 0320 in the morning, and haha, dunno why ah KiaT is able to blog so much. there's still work tomorrow!!!! disrupting the swim session that ah KiaT wanted to have in the morning....

a busy 1 week. ah KiaT started work, part-time job. back to the job where he first started, doing customer service, facing customer, promoting item by item.
starting work has its negative points too. ah KiaT reduced his regular gym and swim sessions because of this.. and worst, have to miss to 1st SRC MGM.... suddenly feel that there's hell lots of things that ah KiaT didnt do personally...
managed to catch a trip down Yishun gym last week, and there's this man, who had 1 leg. and ah KiaT personally admire his positive attitude, his eagerness in leading a healthy lifestyle. he tried machines to machines, doing some conditioning and even teaching some secondary schoolkids how to use them.
anw, job is pretty fun. getting to see those old colleagues, and knowing alot of them had already left that place. so with most of the day time spent at work, night time is mostly spent at home catching the summer Olympic.
and wow, from young, apart from football, ah KiaT loved to catch swimming, athletics and volleyball. 100metre, 9.69secs and that's not even maximum effort, how to run man?
as well as the 8 gold medal achieved.. haha.
and come today, ah Kiat just went for soccer with his secondary school friends. and the last time we played was like 2 months ago. haha. We have to get this going on, else we will retire at a age of 25 man.

anw, reading... YES. ah KiaT been checking the Singapore Biathlon and Osim Triathlon site recently. wow, seriously. wanted to know how the whole process goes about, especially those transition period.
the swim in all these category is 1.5Km, meaning a 30laps on the pool. There's even swimming trial for this, as participants must clock under 50minutes for this on event day.
haha. should'nt be a problem, but ah KiaT gonna practise more in freestyle. can't possibly swim breast stroke throughout, tiring on legs. YES, ah KiaT serious.

everyone enjoyed themselves. Ma De joined us too, and as usual she was crazy, even though someone wasnt here too. haha.

it suddenly seems that the council work year is gradually coming to an end. 1 more camp to go, on top of all the events.... these 5 months will fly really quickly, and soon all these will be history. it had really been a experience!!
anw, been to this job interview today, still unsure if i could get this job, though i think its highly that i will be choosen, due to their weird working hours. ah KiaT is still seriously considering it.

relax ba. anw, Brazil coming Singapore to play an exhibition match. haha. no money to go this time~
it was so unlike the past, when ah KiaT willingly fork out notes to catch Manchester United and Liverpool games. perhaps, its time to save now.

its quite funny. haha i call him buddy, infact we are really buddy. however, it seems that we only meet once when the earth complete 1 round of the sun. hahaha. i know my fault.
hahaha. its time to call kwek, ah chua, rooney and the rest out.
不知不觉那五天过得这么快... the camp seems like it had just started, and here it ended, so fast, just like a blink of the eye....
FOC camp had finally ended. we were able to do a full-scale event, unlike last year, where contingency plan kicked in....
event hiccups here and there, but ultimately the freshies enjoyed it most is the top priority...
so, the best thing about this entire camp is.... eating nasi lemak. we had nasi lemak for umpteenth time, which well...... Red Tea Longan with nata is still the best desert ever...!!
5 days of camp, with an average of 3-4 hrs of sleep per day... and come break camp on friday, ah KiaT still went out...
haha, its really a challenge staying awake and fresh then. and only we know of a place in orchard where u can sleep without people disturbing u....
see, the movie was supposed to be screened 2130 hrs. SOLD OUT. next time, 2230 first row left...
hence we only got the next timing, which screens at 0015 hrs..
so, off we go, while waiting for movie to start, sleeping at that small yet cosy place...
hahaha... it was a great movie, i heard...
coz basically urs truly was snoring mouth wide open fighting the zzzz bugs in the movie.. ah KiaT slept mostly throughout the movie...
okie, if got the time, some pictures shall be out..
my timetable has been disrupted. long time never jog, never gym, never swim. so come tomorrow, ah KiaT shall be doing those once again, with the top priority of getting a job soon!!!
