the 3rd attempt

is all about fun, endurance & pain.

talking about pain,
during ah KiaT PTI days, he recalled his instructor saying
"u must enjoy the pain..."


well all thanks to buddy donovan,
we broken our target today.
we came in at around 4.59.59 and 5 hrs flat,
so benefit of doubt, say 4.59.59hrs

hahaha.
it couldnt be possible if donovan didnt push ah KiaT for the remaining 6Km,
when all the lower limb muscle was numb and in pain.
his 仙丹 can only last about 1km before the pain comes back again.


but it was a great run,
ah KiaT practically ran throughout,
apart from using the 4 pit-stop strategy.
haha, say as if its in F1 racing.

the 2nd marathon was basically a run/walkathon,
the 1st was an experience,
but this run was really great!

the mental block at East Coast wasnt really there today,
and for once, ah KiaT quite enjoy that stretch, apart from some cramps here and there...
but 1 thing negative about this new route is the numerous U-turn.
ah KiaT hates U turn,
its like u never seem to see the point of u turn no matter how long u run.


this year run was really completed more with mental strength.
ah KiaT, once again as lazy and a procrastinator,
only trained afew times for this, and longest distance clocked just before the run was below 10km.

but really, 不认老都不行,
the recovery period is getting longer.
安哥 KiaT is still limping.
hopefully it will be okie by monday!

anyway this is the best run among the 3 attempts,
and somemore the finisher tee is nicer this year!

we always dun have the chance to take pics together,
as he is rushing to find his students, who came to support him.
anw, his company maybe signing contract to officially coach SIM Track & Field club.

hahaha.


and the buddies could have ran in the same singlet.

somemore spotting the same watch!

this run was accompanied by RS200, without the heart rate monitor la.
anw, my new buy is great.
like those polar watches ah KiaT wore in army,
this watch can program ur own training program and monitor the heart rate.
and ah KiaT spent the whole evening measuring his VO2 max, which means the maximum oxygen consumption that one can intake.

but shouldnt measure today as ah KiaT just completed a physical activity,
but nonetheless, the reading is 39, which is only of a fair level.
NOT FIT, hiak hiak.
