its finally back!

managed to get the GOLD in IPPT once again,
after 2 years of failure.
of course, being Cat Y helps too haha.

the decision to take IPPT during ICT prove fruitful as ah KiaT trained during this period, though its only once in afew days. too lazy, NS man mindset.

the speed cycling definitely works,
ah KiaT's weak limbs managed to endure all the way,
9.56minutes!

time to rest at home,
very fast, it's last day at KFCC tomorrow,
my 3rd In Camp will end.
it should have been 4th if ah KiaT didnt defer the 1st one,
and now with the unit slowly becoming extinct,
ah KiaT wonders if he can last the whole NS cycle as a PTI.

a slow and beautiful saturday morning,
if only ah KiaT is at the swimming pool now,
enjoying a glass of ice lemon tea.

arrgh,
i miss hong kong.

from his 3rd In Camp Training.

imparting his knowledge during those RT sessions,
making the RT session seems fun and not dull.

Fitness Specialist at FCC is not those devils u dread to see in Tekong or Units.
Here, the Fitness Specialists are customer oriented,
attending to those unfit NS man.

the NS men felt great after my training,
and suddenly ah KiaT has the growing passion in coaching!
in fact he loves conduction lessons!
the pride in learning and sharing...

well, actually ah KiaT didn't really get to conduct much lessons,
as there are so many FS around,
and sometimes it's just the mindset of NS man.

2 weeks will soon be over,
and it's another enjoyable experience,
seeing back old friends,
except for the few brushes with the RP
and today the 您老兄 Artillery Formation RSM,
who criticize our long hair, our layback fuck up attitude as we never stand and acknowledge while talking to him.

no such thing as "Yes Sir, No Sir"
only, "Orh. Har." or "Reservist eh!"

and complaining to my fellow innocent NSF colleague as he know he's banging a wall talking to us. loser.
and our attire as we are wearing track pants, which is actually our official attire.

and to think we actually help them conduct IPPT.
hai, army is just like that.
my OC never even complain anything, 轮得到你来哭爸!

life is just like that.
our attitude perhaps is really bo chup,
but wad to do when u wake up on the wrong side of bed and need to report camp at 0730hrs!

ah KiaT learnt new things again!

原来 there's also another effective and fastest way to train for 2.4KM without doing speed training on the tracks or doing fartlek.

To share with all,
do gym cycling, maximum effort!
重点 is really maximum effort!
total 6 sets, alternate days training.
60s maximum effort cycling, 90s rest = 1 set.

haha try it!
after 3-4 sets, ur leg will feel numb and u just see the motion of ur legs moving up and down and up and down.

it seems effective as ah KiaT no longer pant as much as before while running,
but results will show on sat IPPT,
which should be silver la.
Target November GOLD!

just returned home from supper with eddy & wayne and a slight drinking session.


sometimes, people envy ah KiaT reservist life.
even the NS man say so.
Ya, its really relax and easy, no jungle no number 4.
but the working hours are damn long.

anw, this unit will be gone, forever in history soon...

难得有机会不用上班,
yes, ah KiaT has been looking for a day break from work.
well, there's something call off or leave isn't it,
but for ah KiaT,
he is just a TEMP staff,
没工=没钱币=吃自己.
so today, the duty roster reads OFF for ah KiaT.

July came and left just like a blink of eye.
it's a tiring month for ah KiaT.
the many sessions of late night,
which resulted in a 3-7am of sleeping time only.
gosh :) wonder how he went through those period,
ah KiaT is someone who needs plenty sleep.


talking about job,
it's pretty sad as ah KiaT will officially quit as at 15 Aug as he had ICT.
the colleagues there, whom ah KiaT knew since his after O-level days.
haha, as his computer is playing that sad song, [did u hear, the 命硬 song],
it simply doesn't help as he kept reminiscing about everything, well everything...

sunday 020809 morning was spent doing something that ah KiaT never done for ages.
those books are filled with dust. he had to take a wet cloth to wipe them off,
before opening that white & black instrument,
and play like he's in a concerto!

sunday is not always about soccer.
有时也要自私做自己想做的东西.


there's alot of things that ah KiaT missed doing.
going for picnics, driving around at night, gym, swim, 卡啦OK, etc....
sometimes really wonder if there's enough time for all these!

ah KiaT will miss the Bangkok trip with the Keep Walking team,
but on brighter side,
he is looking forward to the GO Kart trip!!!

haha, all BENs like to organise GO Kart trip heh.
but it's with HOTSTUFF this time!

ah KiaT enjoys overseas trip with friends!
and especially when it's racing together,
well but actually,

now his wallet is getting emptier!

recently,

playing with jerrold and eddy.
its fun! still learning the strokes and enjoying the fun of the game.

this kid is damn young but drives damn FAST!

its fun on the track,
80cc kart which seems fast,
u get to really speed through the corners,
sometimes locking the wheels,
some small drift,
some 360 degree spin and then speed off,
testing the G force to its maximum,
following the racing line.
wow, what a wonderful feeling.

after the Go Kart session,
we were all left bruised and tired.
this is a good relaxation!

ah KiaT encounter this funny incident.

there's this service captain who went to check the massage room.
as all the doors were closed,
he randomly choose a few and knocked.

fed-up that he can't locate an empty room,
he said,

all the rooms went quiet!

the day finished with us eating at eden.
the food wasn't that great.
we ate zi char.

the must-have all suddenly become dun-have.
the hope of eating good food was dashed.

the trip went well,
if not for that corporate event in between the race,
we would not have waited 90minutes in vain,
and hence missing the 呵比鸭,
which eddy & JJ say it's the life-changing experience.

road trip 一路向北

感觉似乎很爽.
刚从香港回来,又前往大马.

ah KiaT loves road trip,
especially driving trip up north.
to be able to drive is a bless,
u can't describe the feeling of cruising along the journey,
enjoying the beautiful scenery.

ah KiaT's family used to go Malacca often in the past,
for what purposes?
hmmm, to 相亲 hahaha.
but it's been around 5-6 years since the last trip.
so off we go, early in the morning before the sun rises.


having a breakfast pit stop along the way, at around the 70+Km mark.
and soon,
迅速的奔驰, in less than 3 hours we reached Malacca.








first stop is the above.
to pray and play with water.
to experience how in the olden days people get their water from.










a pail is very useful!
to wash 车牌.













there's nothing much in Malacca,
unless u stay over for a night and thus u can walk their night street,
walk the shopping centre.
but there's no shopping in this trip.
haha, simply because ah KiaT shopped enough already prior to this!

got differentiate into areas like Johor, Malacca etc.
and is those scratch scratch one,
instead of ours peel and throw type.

its the first time seeks go to Malacca,
so we decided to play host and bring her around for site seeing.
haha, as if we are the 东道主.

but it wasnt so nice.
prefer eating the normal rice type.
but these rice ball really can bounce!
we tried that.

the road trip up north,
driving the avante S.

ah KiaT read reports in forums that say negative comments about the avante's pick up, power etc.
but surprisingly,
there's no need to downgear for overtaking in the highway.
such strong is this 121hp machine.

but maybe its because ah KiaT's dad added a dunno-wad-is-it-call thing near the engine area,
that supposed to give more power and yet more fuel efficient.
all these tips from his tune-car-crazy friend.

5 people in the car,
we tried up to 180Km/h and it's still going strong. low engine noise and steering is still stable!
ah KiaT's dad never fail to get a good car at low price.

that brings comfort and deliver speed throughout the journey.
with this new carplate,
hopefully it will be a lucky year!
